Frequently asked questions.
I have an idea for a tattoo and want to know How much it will cost?
Pricing quotes for tattoos will vary depending on a variety of different aspects such as size, color, complexity, etc. Therefore, I am unable to provide an exact quote until I have spoken to you directly and have all of the necessary information. I do have an $80 minimum, and larger scale pieces are priced at $120/hr or $900 for 8 hours. However, I am willing to work within my client’s budgets if possible. Head to my contact page and fill out the booking request form to get started. From there, once I receive your request, I will reach out to you within 4-6 business days so that we can discuss the next steps.
Is there anything I should do to prepare for my tattoo session?
Always make sure you are well-rested and have a full meal before your appointment. Bring snacks and a drink if you are expected to sit for a longer session. Make sure your skin is clean and exfoliated but please do not shave right before your appointment. Feel free to bring headphones or anything else that will keep you comfortable during your session.
What should my aftercare routine look like?
Remove your saniderm after 3-5 days (I advise removing it in the shower). Once it’s removed, wash your tattoo gently with warm water and unscented antibacterial soap. Let air dry or pat completely dry with a paper towel, then apply a thin layer of ointment (Aquaphor or Hustle Butter is recommended). Continue to wash and apply ointment twice a day until the tattoo peels (usually 1-2 weeks), then you may begin using unscented lotion. Please DO NOT use Vaseline on your tattoo and DO NOT submerge the tattoo in water (pool, hot tub, bath etc.) for at least 2 weeks.
Do you offer numbing cream?
I do not keep any on hand, but I do understand that it can keep clients more comfortable during the tattoo process. If you choose to use any, I only ask that you let me know beforehand and ALWAYS perform a patch test on your skin before the appointment date to ensure no allergic reactions occur. Please also be aware that numbing agents can affect the speed and quality of your tattoo healing and touch-ups may be necessary.
